Based on Rachel's artist residency in Crete last summer, and the vivid blue vessel she created to hold an ancient shard of history. 

We've since recreated it to share the beauty and bring the magic home.

The original vase was made on a hot and slow afternoon in a small mountain village. Built from unfired clay and some house paint, it balances a 3000 year old shard of pottery found in a ruins site. Gifted to a very kind Greek man who fell in love with it, the original shards stayed respectfully in their homeland of Crete.

Our glazes are handcrafted in small batches, are non-toxic and food safe. Due to their handmade nature, slight variations in colours and patterns are to be expected, lending to unique and original characteristics.
